The other week, someone asked me how she could niche down and create content that attracts high-ticket clients.
If any, what type of clients have you worked with in the past? Was there any you enjoyed working with the most? (E.g. I connect very well with female entrepreneurs)
What type of people do you NOT want to work with? This can help you narrow down the list (e.g. I don’t want to work with anyone too corporate)
Is there anything that interests you? (E.g. I’m very interested in what coaches do so I’ve been targeting them)
List down all your skills and who you might be able to help
List down the type of personality you’re drawn to (I tend to work with more casual entrepreneurs rather than serious ones)
There are a lot of ways to niche down, but niching down by industry is the easiest when you’re starting out.
And when you’re starting out, it’s ok to start broad. Chances are, you don’t know who exactly you like working with!
And it’s ok to shift niches if you’re not happy with it 😁 Niches evolve.
tl;dr - Give yourself permission to explore your niche. Find out who you like to work with and who you don’t.
